Hi! I'm Dom, a high school junior from Miami, Florida who aspires to become an immunologist in the future. I created ImmunoWise to help people establish an understanding of immunology and maybe even develop a passion for the field like I have! 

My Story:

I was born in Lima, Peru in 2009. And it feels like since germinating a singular bean in pre-school, I've been deeply interested in science. My favorite thing to do when I was little was watch animal documentaries on National Geographic. I found it fascinating how science is able to explain even the most common aspects of life. The immune system became something I found interesting after learning in middle school how vaccines are able to basically train our bodies to fight different diseases. 

3 Things About Me:

• I love music! My favorite band is Arctic Monkeys but I do listen to most, if not all, genres.

• I love photography! I use a Fujifilm Z33WP that my parents bought before I was even born!

• Community service is a second nature and a past-time for me, service over self is something that is deeply rooted within me and my values, as demonstrated by my 1000+ hours of community service in my high school transcript!
